About Kyle Atkins
I am a web designer based in Sliema, Malta. I build bespoke, multilingual websites by hand for founders, studios and small teams in Malta, across Europe and in the UK, and on the side I make a handful of small Mac apps.
How I work
ABCwebsites is one person, not an agency. You email me, I reply, and I build the site myself from the first sketch to the line of code that ships it. There are no account managers and no group chats with eight people in them. I take one project at a time and reply within 2 working days.
Prices are fixed and published. Every site starts from one of four tiers, from a One-Pager at 200 to 400 euro up to a Tailored design system at 4,700 euro, and the full price list says exactly what each tier includes. You pay 50% to start and 50% on launch, and the delivery window is written into the quote.
Most projects begin in the theme catalogue: a working library of complete design systems, from Brutalist to Liquid Glass, Editorial to Y2K. You pick a direction, I customise it to your brand and content, or we commission something new.
What every site includes
Whichever tier you choose, the foundations are the same, because they are the floor rather than a feature:
- Mobile-first and tested on real devices, not just a resized browser window.
- Fast: optimised images, lazy-loaded media, minified CSS and a 90+ Lighthouse performance target at launch.
- SEO foundations: semantic HTML, clean meta tags, sitemap, robots.txt, Open Graph cards, structured data and a Google Search Console handoff.
- Accessible by default: WCAG AA contrast, keyboard navigation and screen-reader-friendly markup.
- HTTPS and security headers set up before launch, with spam-protected contact forms.
- Privacy-first analytics that do not need a cookie banner.
- Yours forever: you own the domain, the hosting account and every line of code, and I hand over admin access, source files and a written deploy guide.
Who the work is for
Landing pages, event flyers and personal portfolios fit the One-Pager. Solo founders, consultants and side projects usually take the Essential tier. Small businesses, restaurants and growing brands tend to choose Studio, which adds a CMS so you can run the site yourself. Hotels, premium services and established businesses that need a full design system, advanced integrations and several languages go Tailored. After launch, three care plans keep the site maintained.
Where I am
I work from Sliema, Malta, as a sole trader registered in Malta, and most of my client work happens by email and screen-share, so being outside Malta is no obstacle. The studio details, the terms and the privacy policy are all public on this site.
